If you've ever been to Chuckie Cheese , this place kicks the crap out
of them. Ten times the amount of games , way better selection and quality
of prizes. There is a mini golf course , but I didn't try that as well
as a pizza restaurant that I didn't try either... It is evident that they
crammed all this goodness into a place that used to be a really old Walgreens
or Ace Hardware or something. What it is lacking in polish it more than
makes up for with pure fun factor. Definitely up there with the greats
as far as family fun centers.
Vernon Hills, IL
Good for what it is - a place where kids will have a blast playing skee
ball and such for a couple of hours. Much better than Chuck E Cheese.
Clean, well maintained, loud.
This place houses an 18 hole glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course, arcade
games, and a snack counter that serves hot dogs, pizza, and drinks. I
had been here before for a birthday party and felt like this place has
the makings of a Chuck E Cheese, but cleaner. The arcade and mini golf
kept the kids entertained for a whole afternoon and after scoring a coupon
on the internet I purchased 160 tokens for $20.(Look around I found it,
but trying to find the link now to post in the review, I can't seem to
find it). The mini golf prices range depending on the age of the player.
$5 - $7 for one round. There are specials depending on the day you visit
so check out their website before driving up. Have Fun!
“Really exceeded our expectations”
We purchased a Groupon for a Family Night Out for $39.00. It included
miniature golf for 6, an 18 inch pizza, 2 pitchers of pop, an appetizer
sampler and 120 arcade tokens. If you don't have a Groupon they offer
specials that include pizza, pop, tokens and miniature golf. We arrived
at noon when the place opened and ordered our pizza right away. For $1.50
each you could add ingredients. The pizza was actually not bad. The appetizer
sampler included mozzarella sticks, wings and breaded mushrooms. Those
were good as well. There were plenty of food options available for purchase.
The manager was running the food counter alone so it took a little while
to take orders. We were only second in line but the line grew considerably
while we were ordering.
All of the games gave tickets to be redeemed for prizes. We were impressed
that all of the games worked and most only required 1 token. We really
enjoyed the slot machines (which paid in tickets). There were a lot of
games and toys available at the ticket redemption counter. Again there
was only one person working the counter so we had to wait a bit.
The place was relatively clean and quite large. There were plenty of tables
to sit at and a free children's movie was playing at 1:00PM. I believe
that an adult movie was going to play in the evening. The website shows
different specials that they offer each day including a $1.00 menu on
Thursdays and unlimited miniature golf packages.
There is an 18 hole, glow in the dark miniature golf course that was a
lot of fun and in pretty good shape. Even the adults enjoyed playing!
There is a Hershey's Ice Cream counter as well as a video rental store
inside the place.
We drove out from Wheeling, so about a 35 minute drive. We would probably
go back again over a holiday break if the opportunity presented itself.
“My daughter loves it.”
People's choice has enough entertainment. It is so spacious. Rides last
longer than chuck e cheese. Great glow in the dark mini golf.More
"Great time for this 58 year old kid!"
All You Can Eat Pizza with any flavor ice cream - $3.99 and Glow in the
dark Mini golf was a fun Wednesday night out. I heard about it on Rebel
Radio 1500 am and we just sent a text for a free game. Text the word REBEL
to 83361 and see if it works for you. I am 58 years old and it was a great
time for my wife and I and the whole family. They showed a free movie
with popcorn on Wednesday night too! Also Miller Lite on tap. Everyone
was happy even my wallet!
We had some friends from out of town and didn't want the expense or the
heat of walking outside at six-flags so we went to People's Choice and
I am so glad we did. We went in on a Thursday during their dollar menu
and I was just amazed. First of all - the place is huge and all indoors
and air conditioned. Has a glow in the dark mini golf course (that was
actually pretty fun) and my father liked it and he's 82! They have home
made pizza, foot long hot-dogs, ice cream, and even draft beer, plus a
ton of other items all for a buck. Plus, if you text the word REBEL to
83361 you get a FREE coupon for a FREE round of mini-golf. Their website
says they have over 150 games and I believe it :-0 there were rows and
rows of games and grandma even played slots and won! The redemption prizes
are top quality -stuff that's worth getting - like t-shirts and Chicago
logoed stuff. They even have a little kid section with rides. It was a
perfect afternoon with the grandparents, not too much walking
